Sponsor: The Advanced Practice HIV Care Specialization Program at Rutgers School of Nursing

The program is comprised of three seminars covering the spectrum of health and healthcare issues related to HIV disease. The HIV Specialization is offered within the DNP program as an accompaniment to clinical graduate programs, adding only one extra course within the BSN-DNP curriculum. Students will complete 50% of clinical hours in HIV primary care settings, and capstone projects will also be connected to HIV care.

Current APNs can take the courses as a stand-alone Specialty Certificate in conjunction with a Mini Residency of 16-32 hours.
